Hi, I’m Em, the founder of Barkology Dog Training and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA).

My journey into dog training started with my own dog, Oliver. Like many dog owners, I thought love and good intentions would be enough, but when Oliver struggled with challenges like reactivity, leash pulling, and separation anxiety, I realized how much the right guidance could change both a dog’s life and their human’s confidence.

That experience inspired me to become the trainer I am today: someone who helps owners feel supported, understood, and empowered through every step of their training journey.

At Barkology, my goal is not just to train your dog during our sessions. My goal is to teach you the skills, understanding, and confidence you need to continue helping your dog succeed long after training ends.
